OpenCarData transforms fuel efficient driving into an engaging social competition. A smartphone based vehicle metering solution and website helps individual drivers and fleet managers to reduce vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Trip data are collected in the web archive where drivers and fleets are ranked on leaderboards, graphic trends are displayed and individual trips can be analysed.
